This session provides an in-depth comparison of how Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE) are recognized, measured, and reported under IFRS (IAS 16) and US GAAP (ASC 360). Participants will learn the conceptual and practical differences between the two frameworks, including key issues such as componentization, revaluation, depreciation methods, impairment, and derecognition.
