The Professional Certificate in Accountancy Foundations (CAF) is designed for candidates who have no prior accounting knowledge or those who do not meet the minimum entry requirements of the CATT qualification. If you practice bookkeeping or accounting but have no professional or academic qualification in a relevant field, the CAF will help you advance your career and build a bridge to gain the CATT qualification.
Candidates need to pass two foundation-level exams to gain the CAF:
There is no prior academic qualification required for the CAF. However, completion of secondary-level studies, at least, is assumed.
The program has an online version and an offline version. You have the option to choose the delivery mode of the preparatory session at the registration. Details of these sessions will be communicated to candidates after registration.
